Like all of our celebrations, this one was nothing short of spectacular. That said, let us tell you yet another magnificent love story.
Gay wedding planners bring a distinct understanding and experience to the table. As inclusive/ gay wedding planners, we excel at navigating the wedding industry, which can often have heteronormative traditions and expectations. Our focus is on crafting a celebration that truly reflects the couple’s love story, individual styles, and personalities, free from preconceived notions. Additionally, some gay wedding planners, like our team at Moore & Co Events, go the extra mile by carefully screening vendors to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for the couple and their guests, creating a stress-free and joyful wedding experience for all. At Moore & Co, we have a passion for LGTBQ+ Weddings, in fact we stay in contact with many of these couples and are consistently referred to their friends and family to plan their weddings and corporate events!
One thing we love about military men is their decisiveness. When we had our initial call with Kenny and Ryan, they told us exactly what they wanted – a Gatsby-inspired gay wedding with a slight twist. Instead of feathers and flapper attire, the grooms wanted the whole setting to feel incredibly upscale and chic, so they opted for fancy glassware and deep green hues. Since they found us through their venue coordinator, all of our focus went into planning a wedding of Kenny and Ryan’s dreams.
Versatility Like No Other
If there’s one thing we’ve learned over the years as wedding planners, it is that sometimes upscale venues can be quite restricted. Luckily for us, this wasn’t the case for Royal Sonesta! Kenny and Ryan chose this amazing venue for its royal and opulent feel, while we fell in love with it for how flexible and accommodating the staff were. Along with their specific flower choice, the grooms wanted to play around with their lighting. Naturally, as planners who make dream gay weddings come true, we knew we had to make this possible.
Their Wedding
As soon as Courtney and Jenn, the designers who worked on this gay wedding, arrived on the scene, it was time to give life to our plans. The grooms were relaxingly preparing for their big day while we set up the event space. As we crossed the T’s and dotted the I’s, we eventually ran into a problem with the lighting fixtures. Thankfully, we had more than enough time to fix everything so Kenny and Ryan wouldn’t have to worry about anything for their wedding.
Before the grooms came down to enter a new chapter in their love story, Kenny wanted to provide the perfect surprise for his beloved. He created a heartfelt video of their fondest memories, with music playing in the background as he approached Ryan. This was such an emotional moment; there wasn’t a single dry eye in the room!
Once the ceremony ended, we understood exactly why the grooms paid so much attention to the lighting. As the sun came down, the lights practically transformed the entire place, and we were met with a completely different atmosphere. We wiped our tears and danced the night away, marking yet another successful gay wedding!
We had the time of our lives planning a wedding for Kenny and Ryan and we can’t wait to hear from you next. Get in contact with us and let us turn your vision into reality.
